The LGBTQ community has come a long way and in simple words, love is love and should be celebrated every day. We know that we’re a little late to celebrate pride month, but it’s never too late for celebrating love. Love doesn’t have any boundaries nor it understands any beliefs that humans carry, you just fall in love when you least expect it.

Pride month is basically in the honor of all the LGBTQ+ communities, people who marry the same sex. We’ll talk about the struggles they faced and the spirit they have to never give up on each other. Below are some amazing stories that you’d even start believing in love (if you don’t).

LGBTQ Weddings Celebrating The Pride Month

Mekhala And Tatum’s Marathi Wedding

Mekhala and Tatum first met in Virginia, where they were pursuing their creative writing major, and because of the creative work they came together and started feeling a strong connection for each other. But Mekhala moved to Canada after her graduation and this turned out to be a blessing for them, they started missing each other and got to know that they are in love and want to stay forever.

And one day Tatum proposed to Mekhala to which she could only say a, Yes so the couple decided to get married coincidently they married on their 10th anniversary with Mekhala and Tatum’s family to bless the couple. Interestingly they had two wedding ceremonies planned one The Marathi wedding and The Christian wedding.

Sarika And Ruth’s Offbeat Wedding

Sarika and Ruth met in Virginia, they instantly fell in love with each other and decided to get married. They honored their love by given a unique twist to the wedding rituals. Sarika wore a red-colored jumpsuit instead of a lehenga whereas Ruth wore a white gown with a veil.

The unique element of the wedding was the hawan kund. They’ve used the unity candles instead for hawan and have taken 4 pheras around it. They even wore a mangalsutra, isn’t it adorable?

Aveena And Alissa’s Aesthetic Wedding

Aveena and Alissa virtually met each other on Bumble back in 2017, Aveena first messaged Alissa and asked for a date as soon as their profiles got matched, the date went on for hours and after dating for 2 years the couple decided to get married.

It was a church wedding with the couple’s near and dear ones present to bless them, Alissa was a bit emotional when she saw Aveena all dressed up as a bride. We’re sure that even you’d get emotional after seeing this lovely couple!

Romit And Walter’s Church Wedding

Romit and Walter tied the knot five years ago, their wedding ceremony is not less than any dreamy wedding one could imagine. With the royal look in the Sabyasachi sherwanis to donning three-piece suits. The couple has nailed the wedding look.

Sharath And Sundeep’s Anand Karaj

Sharath and Sundeep have taken the initiative to announce their wedding publicly as they wanted to create awareness among the Indians regarding the LGBTQ community while they were still struggling, but they choose their happiness above everything and got hitched.

We believe that love doesn’t have a boundary, it doesn’t see whether a person is of same-sex or a person is of a different religion. It just makes you fall in love with the Human. Do let us know did you love the article on our Instagram page!
